So Palawan, Philippines is proclaimed as the number one island on the world multiple times over the last decade and for some good reasons namely stunning beaches, lots of corals amazing lagoons memorable sunsets and above all some of the priendliest people you will ever meet.

I guarantee you that you will want to come back to this place once you visit it. So let me share with you some of the best places and hidden spots. Okay so one way or other you will end up in Puerto Princesa arriving from Manila or Cebu or before leaving your trip. It’s the biggest city on the island and the gateway to the beautiful beaches and corals, but i wouldn’t recommend you to stay long over here if you are up to something. But you must at least stick to a city tour. You will never find yourself in a butterfly garden and in t=a prison in the same day ever again.

Next up is about an underground river in Sabang. Only a day trip away from Puerto Princesa . The main fact is that this stunning piece of earth was declared as one of the seven wonders of the nature in 2011. It does attract people where you get a unique experience.

Before arriving in the most popular spot of Palawan island turn left and chill out in Port Barton by far the favorite place of most of the travelers in the entire town. Relatively undiscovered but still with everything your heart desires, Blue lagoons, white beaches and a room for every budget. The corals are amongst the best i’ve seen in this place and a whole lot of underwater goodness to discover. This should be the day where you plan to stay a day or twobefore you know that a week has passed.
Continuing to the North of the island you will end up in El Nido. World famous for her surroundings the limestone cliffs seem to tickle the sky .

Okay now let’s talk about the beaches. Buhay Isla is one of the most mesmerizing places i’ve ever seen, all this didn’t go unnoticed, in only a few years a sleepy fishing village only accessible by dirt roads became the biggest tourism hub in the region. Book your room in time because hotels tend to fill faster than you can blink your eye and be prepared to share your beaches with a lot of others who have come like you. If you are active after your days of lingering then El Nido is the place to go. There are some good opportunities just around town or rent a motorbike and find you own hidden gem.
Continuing East and you will end up in Sibaltan, a small village with only a handful of tourists. Note how the resorts here are build with natural materials. You can easily enjoy yourself here for a long time forgetting all the rest of the world.

So you won’t regret visiting Palawan Isalnd, you can also get to do a variety of activities such fishing, diving island hopping etc. So thank you for reading our blog, if you found this helpful, please leave a like and consider following to receive upcoming blogs on travel related topics
